Hey,
I got a new battery today however the connectors don't seem to fit on it. The battery was the one that was meant for the FTO according to the catalog. Is it normal for the connectors not to fit on a newer battery? And can these be easily replaced (re-wired)? cheers

Yeah Easy enough to do, Repco Supercheap or even Jaycar
http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.as ... rm=KEYWORD
they even sell the Gold plated terminals, Much better to op for
much better Current delivery and Charge rate will also be better
so go nuts.
I use this for my Posotive

And just a normal Gold Plated Terminal for my Negative, i bought the LED display Just to be fancy connected to an Accesory terminal in the fuse box so it would turn off when the ignition was off
