Cold Air Feed

Post by silverGPX »

Just wondering i have a veilside front bar and i have no idea where to put the cold air feed from the bumper to airbox.

Has anyone else put a cold air feed from a veilside?

If so where?

I would also like to keep it from acting as a fresh water intake haha

Any help appreciated :)

do those openings in the front bar have a mesh on it ? you can put the opening of the cold air feed behind the mesh so it stops crap that cant fit through the mesh, mine doesnt have any form of filter at all, ill put a mesh in front of my cold air feed though just for my peace of mind.

heres what i've done with mine so far,

Its the Koolio stylez airbox thats slightly modified to fit the $25 autobarn flexible hose:

Surprisingly though, the hose hasn't crapped itself at 100~110km/h without cableties yet, its just sitting at the foglight hole. im going to relocate that somewhere where heavy rainwater wont build up too much, maybe behind the main mesh with its lowest point being the opening of the hose..
