Clutch slipping

Post by SilentBob »

Well...whislt drivin home tonight i took off at the line, floored it in 1st, shifted to 2nd, let the clutch out, planted the foot....and...
slippage...
revs rose but not the acceleration

so i assume that means new clutch time...??

now, i need to get this done prior to the track day(damn expenses)

So, any suggestions on where to source the clutch(i dont mind ordering interstate etc) and prices i should expect????
I can get it installed locally at a few places, just need to source a decent clutch for not to expensive...

I assume increased clamping force would be good...

I notice Unique have some on their site with exchange...and perfectrun has the cusco(but its a tad expensive i think)

Suggestions,....bring them on(please)

Hey SilentBob,

I need to change my clutch soon as well so why don't you try and get a price quote for getting two done at the same time and see if you can get some discounts.

Only if you want to..

And let me know if you find any thing please?

Thanks,
