ok, anyone in syd, its raining right, so i plan 2 warm my car up with the remote start, (recently on ICE forum someone was like "u put so much pressure on your hand brake") ok so last night after i got home, i thought about that, so i left it in gear 1, an of cause i forgot about it since i never do, OMG it hit my wall an crack the botton lip of the VS front bar, OMGGGG, now, should i go repair it, or get another bar? -_- spewing to the max

lucky its just the bottom, around how much u guys think it will cost repair? all paint is still good, just that crack, or should i get a new bar, different style

Dont remote start kits have a trip wire for incase it is in gear though???

body repair shop would probably charge around $150 + paintwork

i dont mind the bozz without the middle bar, and the Ts factory one, i would need to buy new indi's T.T how much would both the bar cost? like 500?

Lucky you werent standing in front of the car while you pushed the remote.But seriously
why dont you just go to auto1 ,repco etc and get a fiberglass repair kit its not that hard to fix it yourself and with the paint you can get it colour matched into a spray can which i think auto 1 can do.

i actually have a fibreglass kit, but not too sure how to put it on an stuff? like need sandin after? how 2 paint it back properly? etc

give it a go, worst case scenario you'll do a dodgy job but leave it on until you can buy another front bar....no harm in that
you never know, might turn out pretty decent and you'll learn a thing or two along the way

If you were in Brisbane, id offer to show you, lost count of how many front bars iv repainted

Hahaha just take your whole bottom lip off like me. haha. but yea i just bought a whole new veilside front bar good find actually. but i got quoted 150 to fix mine as well, just fix it man.

yeah, my mate said 150 to fix it, an i prob ask him 2 fix my rear wing too, coz it has a crack on the side, so all up 250, o well, guess i dont need to worry about the headache. thanks all though
i really want a new bar, but all up with paint etc etc, like 800 all up T.T unless someone wants to sell me a cheaper bar or swap with the VS one lol
