Help - Grinding Noise

Post by mushilea »

Hi guys!

I have a 4 speed Auto. When I accelerate hard in second and sometimes third gear, I get this grinding noise. It usually only happens past 4k rev, and only if I am gunning it.

If I accelerate normally and reach high revs then it usually doesn't make the noise.

I also chucked it into neutral and there was no noise. I'm guessing something to do with the gear box?

Any ideas? Is it expensive =(??
