Rattling Windows Fix

Post by arkoso »

Hey guys.

I want to attempt the rattling windows fix.
Have any of you who have done it got any tips/advice/warnings?

I've got a 1995 GPX.

.... the noise is driving me insane, over the smallest little bumps too. :( :)

theres a thread on the DIY section. its pretty easy. the instructions are great in the completefto website.

http://completefto.com.au/CompleteFTO.asp?aid=272

you might not even need to replace the parts, i just tapped it with a hammer till the part was tight enough, you'll know what i mean once you have the window guide in your hand... make sure you oil it as well, so the plastic bits wear out slower, again you'll understand what i just said when you get there.
