dense smoke from gearbox sensor - shortcircuit

Post by chrisfarru »

so i was fiddling with my gf's FTO and there is this sensor on top of the gearbox and it was unplugged. Its plug lay right next to it. As soon as i plugged it in, the socket almost melted down. i guess now i know it wasnt plugged in for a reason. I'll take pics to show you which sensor it is... any ideas?
