*sigh* another engine problem again???

Post by J »

car has been stalling lately. if i stop at a roundabout/traffic light and it cuts out every single time. even if im slowing down from say 30km/h it will cut out and powersteering is non existent.

its been idling really really low for the past few days on P and N around the 200mark and when i switch to drive or reverse it cuts out. so ive had to ignite on neutral, rev it to 2500rpm keep it there and quickly switch to drive so it doesnt dip down and cut out.

ALSO - i checked the engine oil, and it literally had none at all... but i checked it last week and it had heeps.... wtf? there are no leaks under the car that i can see.

could it be the stepper motor? but how would the affect the oil levels?

Yep new stepper motor will fix the first problem.
As for the oil well you could have a leak.
