APEXi AFC?

When i bought my car mid june, it has some sort of air flow converter velcrowed to the side wall dash of the drivers seat but its not wired up

, it has 5 buttons/knobs which all have ranges -30 -+30, and each knob going up from 800,2400,4000,5600,7200 can anyone tell me what this does if i hooked it up?

oh wow, thanks eddiii.
it kind of helps. it says what it does cleary but not why..
would it be worth wiring it up to my ECU?
