well i want power but sound is just as important,
i was thinking on $1250 max inc. installations. is that enough for a good quality exhaust?..,
any good places in western sydney i should go too?

keep an eye out on ebay for cheap used jap brand exhausts. failing that for the price you have stated you get a decent exhaust made up but you wont have enough for extractors. Nothing stopping you from getting those later though if you just want to buy the exhaust and a high flow cat.
I pieced my system together gradually, first buying the extractors and high flow CAT. Later on I got the Apexi N1 at full price imported in from japan. All up cost me 1650 + 990. Some may say its a little expensive but so I the modified car scene
EDIT: oh and if i had the money I would get another system from the cat back, still retaining the high flow cat, tiny resonator, 2.5 in, no muffler, finished off with twin staggered flutes angled out to left. Hmm maybe I should get something like that made up for a "track hack"
