Ok before we get to carried, do you know how to check error codes?

You need to check them first.

If you dont know how go to DIY section and there should a step by step walkthrough.

ok do this
1) Check all connections from where you did the work (you may have left a pludg disconnected) or clipped in properly
2) disconnect battery leave for 5mins and reconnect
4) Start car. Is engine light still on?
5) If YES to 4, check engine codes, tell me what they are
6) if NO to 4, take car for a drive. Does engine light come back on?

Let me know how you go
