car cuts out when i stop need help
hi every.1 im really hopein dat some.1 could help me as my car cuts out when i stop but it starts when i turn d key and drives grand but when i stop it cuts out again so if any.1 could help me i b over d moon thanks and the kids are back in school 2moro and i need the car 2 brin them i just dont want 2 b holdin up traffic and gettin ppl 2 start beepin evrytime i have 2 stop the car and start it bk up and by the way its a automatic if dat help at all. and a big thanks again 4 yous are time

clean throttle body, use to happen to mine as well

thanks 4 your help. it keap cuttin out when i tryed 2 start it and it cut out without me touchin the brake when i was drivin. it ticks over sumtimes but just cuts out sumtimes aswel. but if i start it and have me foot on the accelerater it stays tickin over any other ideas and thanks again bud.

haha your problem just seemed like what happens when you forget to put the clutch in when you stop in a manual

You need to check them first.
If you dont know how go to DIY section and there should a step by step walkthrough.

its tickin over grand now its just dat d engine system warning light came on what do i do now

ok do this
1) Check all connections from where you did the work (you may have left a pludg disconnected) or clipped in properly
2) disconnect battery leave for 5mins and reconnect
4) Start car. Is engine light still on?
5) If YES to 4, check engine codes, tell me what they are
6) if NO to 4, take car for a drive. Does engine light come back on?
Let me know how you go
