Rear engine mount

as above I need one (new) where is the best place to buy them here? or does anyone know what other car they share?

Oh its for a manual as know they are different (the one that bolts to gearbox on rear of crossmember) looks at Dstocks :P

Camskills or just get it rebuilt and with urethane.

I can get them as well. Make sure you get the right one. They do vary depending on model and transmission type.

    I got 2 from Bursons recently.

    Was about 80$ each.

    I can get you a poly one made if you like. Mine was $180 using an old mount as the donot for the shell.

    yeah i'll probably need a couple as well.
    can't remember which one of the top of my head but one of mine is broken, another sagged.

    any suggestions for somewhere in qld preferred?

    Yeah, they're like a Supercheap / Auto One type store. Just not as many of them

    thanks guys managed t get originals rebuilt with poly dont know cost yet but will post when i get bill

    ok so if anyone interested i got original mounts rebuilt, they stuffed up and rebuilt with standard not poly but they will do for now
    cost $60 for both (special price though) but shouldnt be a whole lot more, I did remove mounts for them however to save labour costs

    local workshop I do a lot of work for them so they look after me, just cost me the actual rubber mount, I didnt have time to press myself :roll:

    Right so you just pressed out the old one and pressed in the new? Where did you get the rubber from?

    Heres a thought for ya

    If the manual mounts are solid rubber, and the tip ones aren't, could you fit a set of manual mounts to a tip as an upgrade? It would certainly hold the engine better but would it damage anything? After all, they were probably made different for a reason :?
