Camskill Droplinks - UPDATED: More questions

Post by Dan25 »

Justy wondering if the Camskill front droplinks are any good, or if I should stay away?
I'm desperately in need of some new ones but don't want to spend $290 on original Mitsubishi ones.

Thanks.

Had the Camskill ones in for ages and had nothing bad to say about them at all. Good exchange rate at the mo, so I'd say go for it.

Camskill would be the cheapest to get them from, also, almost everyone on here buys the droplinks from camskill.

Thanks for the replies guys :)

I have another couple of questions...

The guy at Pedder's mentioned that my "radius bushes" were also worn, but I can't seem to find anything under that name, so I wonder if anyone could please direct me to the correct parts under a different name. Also, the same applies to "rack mounts" - I can't find anything under that title.

Thanks a lot,

Dan

On account of not knowing what the hell they are myself, I wouldn't know what to photograph to show you. He only showed me the D-bushes for the sway bar, not the "radius bushes" or the "rack mounts".

So stumped. :(

Ok, so I took the diagrams in and we have sorted out which bushes I need. Drop links have been ordered from camskill :)

I have one more question: I have been told that i need steering rack bushes for both the driver's and passenger's side, however camskill only list them for the driver's side and say something about the passenger side one being part of the steering rack. Is this correct? Am I not able to buy a steering rack bush for the passenger side? And does this mean that I would essentially need a new steering rack!!??

As far as I remember they are both about the same. Just buy two of whatever side they will sell you.
