easy get a boomerang alarm...
remote starter and turbo timer and so on. has a lot of things u can do with it. Play pranks on people walking pass to scare the crap out of them.
plus a pager and option tracker.
im lazy so i start it in the morning to warm before i actually drive off... works a treat when its cold and outside and waiting for your car to heat up so you can use the heater.

He's looking to turn over an engine that is not presently in a vehicle. He needs answers to questions like fuel, spark etc. on how to get it running.

Are u serious? I hope you're not planning on doing the work on your own just by asking this question. 8O

But hypothetically you need fuel supply, fuel pump, battery wired properly to fire sparkies, and ignition loom long enough to reach starter motor unless you know how to jump a car. And these are just the basics. :?
You never get a second chance to make a first impression.
