in the really early models it was infront of the left headlight (youd know if it was there) then it was either on the back left hand corner of the car in the gr and gpx's, or part of the window demister in the rear window of the gs and some gr models

I am pretty sure that the front aerial was to assist parking. My car is a 95 model and it came with the front one and the rear motorised one as well.

i havnt seen one since, but years ago i saw a silver 94 with a front aerial and no rear one... but it may have been in the rear window...
personally, i prefer the external rear one...
though the half and half switch is a bit of a gimmick, the only time you need it fully up is in the wop wops and then your travelling at such speed they tend to bend and then not go down properly when you turn the ignition off (or if you go under a farmers fence)

yip in back window on some models was factory option....
do you have stock headunit still? you may need band expander or best to just change whole thing

nah an old sony deck thats about 6-7 years old

hesistant to replace it as it looks damn good and there's nothing similar to it. The only thing I'd consider replacing it with would be a touchscreen

Maybe the aerial plug fell out.
