Replacing the heater core

Post by msbchi »

Has anyone replaced their heater core, and if so how difficult is it to remove the dash , is there a guide and how long does it take for someone reasonably proficient at mech work. I really don't want to blow another $1,500 on a job that was done a few years back so I might try a DIY job

You need to take out the Dash to Replace it. I'm pretty sure DStocks has done a DIy on removing the dash in the DIY section i don't think there's much to it after you you've got it out
