exhaust problems

Just got a new fto (1996 gr), but i think the exhaust system is stuffed, the muffler needs replacing but i dont know if anything else does or not like the cat. its only stock standard stuff, how much would it cost for a whole new standard exhaust system to be put though?

As for the system well it comes down to where you take it and the brand that you put on, the price will go from for a full system $600 aprox - $1200 aprox.

ahh i see.. so would it be less to just replace the muffler and the cat?

just the cat and muffler will cost aprox $300ish for a no name off the shelf set up.

oh and look into getting a high flow bit more power out of the car with it.
