Goodridge Braided Brake Lines Troubles HELP!!

Post by muchacho32 »

I bought some Goodridge Braided Lines (part no: SMT0870-4P) My Car is a 98 GP Version R all stock brakes. Yesterday I put the car in to have them fitted but the Mechanic rang me back and said they can't fit them because they're the wrong fittings he went on about my car having "oval shaped fittings" and the lines having "hexagon shaped fittings" which doesn't make any sense to me, shouldn't that be Irrelevant ? has anyone else had any issues with these lines? or heard of any UK guys having issues?(since they are a UK brand.) (They are also listed in the UK FTOOC website shop. http://www.fto-shop.com/brake-discs-pad ... d_159.html)

All sorted now the first mechanic was just a TOOL :P all those in the ACT wouldn't suggest ACT BRAKES SERVICE. They tried to rip me off $370 for some braided lines I didn't even need to buy... The $110 Goodridge ones I had were fine in the end.
