I patched up my splash shields today using plastic real estate sign material. only the front part was missing, so i cut a template from cardboard and traced it onto the plastic sheet and cut it out with a stanley knife.
Man, this stuff is great, really tough and pretty easy to work with, just sprayed it black when I was finished. they aren't perfect, but they will do the trick. I'll keep this stuff in mind for other jobs, one being the divider between the boot and the back seat.
