sure can on rear
just toe on front though unless you have a aftermarket camber kit

what size are your tyres? if your on 17`s should run them @ 40psi 30 is way to low

I run 36 front and 34 back with 235/45/17's

i'm running 215/45/17

yes you should run @40
and for those size tyres (235) you should have a 8inch rim

@ aza i would run them at 38 to 40 still

reason to run psi higher on the 40/45 profile tyres is because they have a much lower side wall the pressure has to be high otherwise they build up too much heat causing them to `go off or have less grip` other effects incl fast tyre wear and they can actually unseat themselves from the bead causing a deflation and possible damage

aza can run slightly less as the 45 profile is not actually 45mm but 45% of the ratio of width of tyre (a very common misunderstanding)
OH and for 17x7 rim on FTO tyre size should actually be 215/40x17

and yep I have the 17x 8's rims
as for grip well yep there is a sh*t load of that

do you get any scrubbing of 235 tires??? yes on full lock or 1/2 lock when going up a driveway but most FTO's do that any way.
you just have to get the right off set rims.

i decided to put 17X8 in the front now and hving 235 tires
and 225 at the back

i would stick with 225/40 front and possibly go 235/40 rear keep the wider rim at rear but why have two different size rims? if you go 235 front your speedo will be wrong

rolling circumference of wheel and tyre will be much larger so eg if your doing 100kph with larger circumference you will be going faster than actually said on speedo as speed sensor in gearbox not at the wheels it would be opposite if your circumference is smaller

wt if 235/40 rather than 235/45???
will it reduce the error ?

I have had it tested and my speedo is out by 3-4Ks @100 with the set up I have.

Don't do it! Lol. Imho you're ruining the character of the car. Bit of tail action is fun in an FF , versus a boring under under under car only lol.
