hey guys how far have you lowered your car?
The reason i ask is that i have a bozz speed front bar and veilside side skirts and 17 inch and 45 mm tryes.
If i put king springs low will it be to low.
I measured from the bottom of the bar to the ground which is lik 190mm if i put low springs in which are supposed to lower it 35 to 40 mm. Will this mean the front bar will sit 155mm off the ground.
I am really confused about this if you could all give me a hand i would be happy thanks.

My car is on king springs atm and i reckon its too high, ive got 17 inch rims with 215/45 tyres on. Ive got coilovers coming in the next few weeks to lower it more but i dont have a kit. If youre afraid of it being too low and you want the springs, get a higher tyre profile to raise the car a bit higher.

id measure car as it is with bozz bar on the springs (king low not superlow) drop about 35mm so work out your difference from there

Im just under 13cm clearance from the t's factory and the ground. If i dont angle it heaps on drivways i scrape to the point where the whole bar just wants to come off. Im unsure what springs im running but with your bozz it would be a nightmare.oodLes wrote:I think Im on medium kings and its impossible getting in and out of most driveways without angling it immensely. I think mine are 25mm front 35mm rear.

so far it is still legal low n everything makes it over stuff. only prob is sometimes if you get someone else driving your car u can get into trouble ( they just dont no how to do the angle thing over things & not go over massivly high speed bumps) but so far not to much trouble just dont be to rough.

In NSW from August, you will get defected if you lower your car more than 5cm from stock without getting it engineered.
If it is lower than 15cm from stock, it won't be road registerable.
I don't know what the stock FTO ride height is, but I'm damn sure a lot of NSW owners have lowered their cars by more than 5cm.
F*ck you Rees, f*ck you Daley.
