Hand Brake Light?

hey guys

having trouble with the hand brake light, lighting up when i take off on first gear... its really starting to worry me. it happens on first gear when i "give it" a little.
PLEASE HELP!

It also acts as a fluid warning light so check your brake fluid levels. If these are low you probably are gonna need new pads soon.

ergo, its actually a cheap way of showing you yoour pads are wearing down

or the switch that works the light on the handle is loose

also could be the negative pressure inside the well pulling the inside bit of the lid down- if it is - fill up the fluid to the right level and push the rubbery bit back up into the lid bit
(sorry - technical terms are NOT my strong point!!!)
