performance chip???????

i was just wondering about those performance chips. that claim add about 20 hp. there dirt cheap and was just wondering if they are worth the buy. or will they be worse for a mivec fto?

All they are is a resistor in a box, they trick the ECU into changing the timing or the air/fuel ratio. They just make our cars run a bit rich

I can recall a member has tryed them and made the car run like sh*t stay away from them.
