Hi guys, I've just bought another FTO for my girl and it is a 95 GR Auto, everything is fine except one warning light which is located at the bottom left refuse to go off even while driving...
the previous owner said it has always been there and never went off, we took it to the mechanic and serviced it and said the car is all good but he also wasnt sure why is that light on at all times and what does it represent...anyone have any idea what does the bottome left light meant to represent? would appreciate your help, thanks

The windscreen washer bottle light is definitely on the right.

Bottom left is your exhaust temp sensor. If your car has been de-catted this is showing an open circut.
Under the drivers seat you will see a connector which should go to the cat. Stick a fuse over the terminals and the light should go away. Failing this take the bulb out.
You only need it to show you not to park in long grass when your car is hot

C'mon Bill, we can get 6 months in prison for not running a cat! Yet you can buy an old, leaded 8 litre V8 for less than 5 grand here too...

Some of your laws are pretty draconian man, no carbon, no de-cats, jeez, I though the British laws were crap.
Actually, I still think the British laws are crap but at least we dont get two-for-one points on our licences on holiday weekends
