AB bonnet question

Post by eddiii »

Hey guys, just wondering with the AB bonnet, those middle air vents, when it rains does it leak down to the engine? or theres somethin to block it? But if its blocked then it kills the whole purpose with the vents?

Nothing to block it ...

But due to the angle, not much water would get down there anyway ... The one to worry about is on the side ... Espcially if you have an un-boxed pod filter...
I just had to add it ......

theres a guy who just bought one in the uk, he's getting rubber tubing to carry any water that comes in through the ab bonnet and the rubber tubes will bring the water under the car.

Wou;ldnt be a bad idea actually, you could just run the hose to the vents and slit a little cut line and the water would just drip down right in the hose just like house gutters
