Hi,
Need to do an oil change soon, and was thinkin a gear box oil change would be in order...
how hard is it to DIY it?
What parts do i need? Any online guides/photos?
its a pretty easy process....theres a drain plug at the side of your manual gearbox near your left front suspension....and the fill plug is on the front of the gearbox if i remember correctly....just unscrew both of them, let the oil drain, and refil with the proper grade oil....it tells you exactly what to do in the cars manual...
but how are you gonna put the oil in? i think you need a pump to push it through a tube since the opening is quiet small? or at least thats how i saw my mechanic do it...
Disrespect is easy. Respect is the difficult road to take.
I was trying to change my gearbox oil and spend 30min looking at it while been underneath the car... I can't found the plug Chiangstar refering to (I do get my blond day suspose)
wonder anyone got a picture of what it looks like?
