General Service Inclusions
I currently have my car at the mechanic for a general service, and to replace the front discs and pads. Apparently the brake fluid has never been replaced and this has caused the front right brake to seize. Shouldn't the brake fluid have been checked during previous services? I have used several mechanics since I first bought the car, and none of them picked up on the problem. The car is currently sitting at a reputable mechanic waiting for parts.

they usually just check to see if you have fluid not the actual condition.....
generally you have to specify if you want them bled. but it makes a huge difference when its done more noticable then slotted rotors etc unfortunatly its often neglected by mos people on any car

The brake fluid should be replaced every 40,000km

Better Mechanic? Here in cyprus? You must be talking about a miracle mate! My car is in my hands. Thats why i am seeking help here. No mechanic exist here. So a good one is a dream. Either i try to service it or fix it or my GR is a dead one.
