I have a 95 GPX 5sp that doesnt really like going over 6 -6.5 RPM when it should really have some ping left in her. Is it possible the MIVEC isnt kicking in?
Is this all the time or only when cold? The ecu will stop ypu going into mivec when cold to protect the engine but should be fine when warm.
If it is all the time then i would say its probably the alternator. If alternantor wiring, connection or alternator itself is damaged it will also stop you mivec'ing
