you prob need to take the weight off the arm. then it will either slide out or light tap will get it out ;)

Isn't that what I said? Jacks (take the weight off the arm), Bolt + Mallet (light tap)... Overkill? I think so, but it did work :D

i just gave up after belting it with a hammer and bar it didn't even look like moving. im guessing its rusted in, so i just bolted it back together before i damaged the bolt.

just what the other guys said...

i had to actually take mine out today because it wasnt tightening

im assuming your talking about the tension pin that bolts the arm to chassis?

you have to jack it up take the weight off

spray a lubricator or an oily substance and let it sink in.. like WD-40 or something
just hit it straight out with a mallet

that will definately make it come out.. if you still cant get it out - go to gym and hit some weight and then try again :P

:D did all that, then some!!!!! including the gym....
its all good, new discs and pads go on tomorrow if it stops raining.
i had a broken sway-bar mount on the arm, but i welded it up without taking the arm off.

i only went for the basic type as i will be selling the car when its finished. pads and discs were RDA brand. the front rotors were from a Magna / Verada TS and only $60 each.
