a..holes, and why I am in the mood for blood

Why do some people feel the need to mess with our property?

Noticed yesterday that some asshole has keyed from halfway between the mirror and the handle to 1/3 the way across the rear quarter panel

they have also been walking on my car with what looks like Doc's or something as they have slipped off before the mirror (between the mirror and the bonnet bulge) scraping the sh*t outa the paint

insult to injury, looks like they have taken a big kick to the same rear quarter as there is a looong scuff mark across the flared part, almost to where it wraps round to the rear of the vehicle

sure, my car has been a bit rough, the paint is fading badly and needs a respray, so not quite as pissed as I could be. But come the f**k on, why the hell would someone bother to do that?

I swear, if I ever caught someone doing that, I think I would be arrested for what I would do to them!!!

/rantOff

Looks like I will be doing a respray pretty soon, with some cheap wheels and a VS replica she should be looking mint :) really need some parking securely

I concur, and yeah, I would have had the death sentence by now if I did to all morons what I would like.

There is so much vandalism, and my cars have been hit up so many times,

There will be a night I will hear whats going on, and that's when the baseball bat next to my bed comes into play.

thats absolutely disgusting. i hate this attitude that ppl are jealous n thats why they do it, but it never makes the victim feel any better... n the other issue is that there is no way of catching them unless a neighbour saw them...

i feel for u, i cant say ive been through it. maybe invest in installing motion sensor lights, i know when iw alk the dogs n one of them poops i avoid them...

Also if you can't park it securely, try to have a quality alarm system that supports motion sensoring.

Sorry to hear that bro, i know how your feel, for some reason at least once a year, someone either keys or dints my FTO, it annoys the F$%K out of me, want to kill them...the last dint was on new years eve, i parked at a parking lot near dock lands in Melbourne to watch the fire works from a friends apartment & when i got back to my FTO, some F%*KIN A%^HOLE punched near the top left corner of my roof! you can see the knuckle dints...F&*K! you just have to be careful where you park. I used to sometimes park outside the house cause my dad car is always in the garage & get keyed or get my tire valves stolen, & even last year some F$&K smashed my front window! I said to my dad, i had enough! I'm parking in the garage from now on! Its annoying that i have to move the my dads car if its in the garage but ever since then, no more key marks or smashed window. A month ago my next door neighbor got their window smashed....i guess the person couldn't find my car so they smashed someone else....F^&KEN D^*KHEADS! People are just jealous cause we have a good looking car

I'll take that offer :D

I live in an apartment building in Wellington CBD (NZ obviously), 10 stories up and can't hear my (5 star) alarm go off reliably. I have to park it ont he street... the thing that fucks me off is, For 5-6 nights of the week my car sits in my SECURE parking spot in the highrise I work in. It's only nights that I have to do something (like take the missus to her bollywood class or get groceries) that the car even gets used.

Then on that 1 or 2 nights some fucker decides to do this... I am considering cameras or something, would love to put a camera in the apartment wndow pointing at the car, but we face the opposite direction!!! The apartment didn't come with a carpark either obviously :S

I live in Bundoora, in between Thomastown & Reservoir. The area we live is a new estate, when we just moved in, its was ok but every year, we hear lots of vandalism getting worse...especially with my car, it was only scratch marks & bird poo i was getting, then people started keying, smashing my window & steeling my valve caps, probably because they were a blue shinny colour, in 3 years i've caught about 25 kids steeling my valve caps. After that, i looked on ebay for anti-theft tyre valves & found shinny blues ones. Bought them & never had a problem, cause u need a key to unlock them. There was 1 time, i parked my car at Northland shopping centre & when i walked back, from a distance i saw a bunch of kids near my car, so i walked behind my car & kept my eye on them, then they were trying to steal the valves of my car, i heard one of them said, "its not coming off". So i surprised them & said "WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?!" 2 kids managed to get away with their bikes but i grabbed 2 kids by the bike handles. I was pissed & just started cursing at them real bad, one kid was crying saying sorry but the other kid just swore back, I let the kid go who said sorry but the other i didn't, guess what i did.....i got his bike, picked it up & smashed it on the ground, he was in shock & just ran away...LoL....BLOODY KIDS THESE DAYS....

that is HILARIOUS hahahh... can so imagine it.. "HULK SMASH!!"

To OP:

That sucks so much I really feel for you. Luckily my FTO (which I park at the station) has been alright, no vandalism but I remember my previous car (also parked at station) had the passenger door keyed pretty bad. Makes you wonder what kind of idiots actually find joy in this. It's not like they smashing the window to steal your stereo, it's pointless damage... hope they get f*ked over for it one day

ROFL.... good on ya for the vigilanti behaviour i know ppl say that it doesnt do anything but i so disagree...! trust me the kid would be one in the background from that day! the prob is that even if u put it under a cover that ppl would just rip the cover off. its a real shame... do u have like a large fence or like a driveway gate u can put around your property? or can u get a permit to make one?

I feel for you man .. I don't know what I would do to someone if I caught them doing that to my car .. but if you do find out .. be smart about it mate .. there are far worse things to do to someone that don't involve violence - be creative ;)

If it happened to me, it would mean WAR .. I seriously would keep on at them for the rest of their very natural and hopefully very long life..

... Did I mention I'm not a vengeful person?

And don't even think about getting a respray until you have your car housed in a garage!

Sorry to hear that FTEvo, mindless acts of random violence really annoy me, what is it about, 'oh I'll teach him and his fancy car', just cause they cant manage to care for something and respect it doesnt mean they have to take it out on someones property!
I was talking to a lad that owned a DB9 one night, told me he got keyed, like that he didnt see the point of it, he worked hard every day and spoiled himself when he got a senior position in the company due to his performance, as anyone would. Yet some fool who never worked a day in their life, and who is living off our taxes and scrounging off every hard working individual, decides that this person doesnt deserve this car!
I've often thought of dash cameras, but even with proof you'll still get nothing out of them, only satisfaction is to do the same as BJ, respect for that!

I used to be one of those kids stealing valve caps

In my defence - I had a code.. I only stole them from the wanker who would always yell at us for making dirt jumps in the bushland behind his house.. they were pretty chrome ones & made a nice addition to my bike, and all my friends bikes when he replaced them :P *muhahahaha* even when he just replaced them with normal black plastic ones I took them too
I actually took some from someone elses car, but felt bad & went and replaced them after I nicked the old d*ckheads ones .. (I would make a sh*tty thief :$)
