MICROTECH LT-8

Hey im thinking about buying a lt-8 for my n/a mivec fto. I heard that these are for mitsibushi 24tooth coil packs but cannot be retuned. Is this any good for my car??

Completely overkill for an N/A FTO. You'd be better off spending $500 on a Haltech Interceptor. Probably get better results with it too, the LT8 is getting a bit long in the tooth for todays ECU standards.

Yep, ive got me one of those im about to get fitted (haltech interceptor). Aza just got 18KW at the wheels from his.

    how much would it cost (haltech interceptor) and where is a good place to do it in sydney? i wouldnt mind adding some power to my fto ^^ where did aza did his?

    im pretty sure aza done it at pulse racing. correct me if im wrong.

    That is correct, pulse did it for him.

    I got quoted:

    $650 for the interceptor and $600 for installation and tuning.

    Total - $1205 put me off it for a while.

    I disagree with Ben, they aren't worth much, but if you need to only slightly adjust the fuel then there is nothing wrong with them. Bloody cheap too...

    They can also remove the overfuelling in Mitsi's on gear change (manual trans) that makes them run like a dog after shifting

    They have their place if you can get a cheap one, brand new though I wouldn't bother!
