Help! How to replace bulb in low beam

Post by rhapsody »

Hi, can someone please tell me how to remove and replace the low beam and fog light bulbs. I really do not have a clue and thought it would be just a case of removing the back of something and pulling out the bulg? :? Thanks

if you can get your hand arount the back of it, you can just turn and pull the light out, otherwise, it's just one long bolt that holds the light in (look at the top of the middle of the fog light, there's a hole with a screw in it), and you'll be able to pull the light out and disconnect it that way. :)

(assuming this is a pre facelift model, i.e. pre 97)

There's potential for a thread about anything on FTO Australia

Thank you very much, I knew it had to be something that simple, a friend was telling me to unbolt things around the lights?? now I just have to figure out how to get to the fog light since someone seems to have stripped the screw.

You can drill into the screw head, then use a screw puller kit on a drill ($15-25 from bunnings / Supercheap etc) to thread into the screw & pull it out
