without sounding like a brag, CRXs are not worth wasting your petrol on... (unless they gee you up at the lights with a BOV, then you know you got some serious competition). i've taken on 2 CRXs from memory (since i got my car) and on both occassions i won without much effort really... then again, they seemed more like showponies than actual HP beasts so maybe in terms of power to weight ratio, they are far worse off because of their bling-bling 18s and full-house ICE etc LoL...

it is true! draggin Crxs are a waste of time.
coming back from the airport with 240kg extra load of passengers and a boot full of luggage, there was a stock looking black crx with mean sounding exhaust tailing me across an empty bridge towards epping at 3 in the morning. he finally came up beside me and gave me the look before flooring it. I took off after him and it was only seconds before I flew by and u should have seen the look of his face as he knew I had a car full of people.
I have done the same to a DC2(rego no. EZA)with a hong kee driver except the boot was empty. By the time he reached VTEC YO!!!!!, I was gone!!

Power to weight ratio is one thing, but dont forget that one 200hp car isnt the same as the next. THe VTEC YO!!!!! engine might be rather gutless till it hits higher revs. I almost bought a crx - and i was reading quite a few comments saying they arent the fastest off the line as the power doesnt kick in until it has a few revs under its belt. I have had no probs beating CRX's of different ages with my stock 95 GR tip.

I dragged a CRX Del Sol VTEC YO!!!!! before
Actually I was worried about it as I have heard it and it sounded nuts, VTEC YO!!!!! popped and sounded crazy
Anyway, long story short, the drag race was a joke. The CRX went no where. I really think that I could have beat it without using MIVEC
The car was a lancer though with 6A12 manual and a few mods
