Serious help needed

Ok guys update from before. My pride and joy was stolen clean out from under me by a mechanic that was suppose to be repairing my little ninja and getting her ready for he new QLD plates. my 1000 hours work is gone and there is about 13000 damage so i am in dyre need of parts ( lets not mention i am 21 weeks pregnant and now stuck with the bloody tempremental 180sx) so lets start at the front of the car. New thermo fans they have hit a wall or somehting at bout 15kms and pushed that front bar back onto the fans. They r royally gone... now a few leaks and things too. Inside the car is a complete mess they have cut any and every wire in sight my under body LED kit is gone as is all interior ( had them under the dash under the front and rear of seats and sorrounding the stereo) Gone! doign so they have cut wires to my transmisson and its now stuck in third ( sequential shift ) the centre console is obliviated nothign left however they did manage to leave a 2500 head deck sub and amp and mtx speakers 4 sets (go figure!) cigarette burns in the seats and new crushed velour covers GONE! glove box was ripped out and the clips are smashed to pieces. HID kit is missing well parts of anyways. mod chip is gone... i cant think what else right now but as you can guess it is juts a complete mess... any one know where i can get these parts from? HELP i am begging i refuse to write it off.... Please please please help me save my car LOL

i am confused... if you know who stole it why havent the police been involved????

sounds to me like its better to write it off and get your insurance??

All the interior is gone?? $13000 worth of damage??

Are you serious? If theres 13000 worth of damage its a right off. There is a fto for sale on the coast for that and its only done 60,000km

Get some pics up, between me and dstocks and ebay we can get you all the parts, thats not going to be a problem but it sounds like you would be better off selling it as it and buying another fto.

If it wasn't plated I am guessing it wasn't insured. Was it a dodgy "mates mate" mechanic? Or is there some proof that some reputable mechanic actually screwed you right over?

Goto the cops, take a civil suit out on the fucker !

It was anactually mechanic. He screwed up the repairs on my 180 and when i wnet to get my FTO back he cracked a sh*t and took me to court for storage even though he was suppose to be repairing it. Judge threw it out and on the agreeded day to go back my baby had been "stolen" although he was the one who found it 10 days later. so yes now i am taking a civil suit against the fucker i have the head of police up here helping me but yes your right it was uninsured it because (mistake number 1) he encouraged me to forget the insurance due to changing it over to QLD plates and it was covered by his and the fact that it would take him a while to source parts...GO figure! biggest thing i am after atm is the WHOLE center console. It is smashed... gone obliviated!!! and when they ruipped out my glove box they have busted the clips. To have these both fabricated in tville is going to cost something like $1500

When i get time i actually post all the damage... pretty bad...

you should have a good case, problem though will be the cops getting prints off it. hope they can find some of the gear to nail him for it!

And if he told you it was covered under his insurance, that is a verbal contract, and is bindable by law. but get a goooood lawyer, pay the extra here, because you should be able to ream him.

Also, goto the media and newspapers. destroy his reputation and business!

yeah your telling em i would have rather ridden it off under insurance but the police helping me think he is dodgy as f**k and the newspapers and ACA will be backing me 100% as soon as it hits court. It s funny thou because the day it was "stolen" i rang EVERY mechanic tyre place spare parts importer exporter car carrier car salers and buyers wreckers taxi service pretty much everyone and nearly 60% of ppl told me to watch myself because when he wants to be the superhero it would magically appear! GO FIGURE! he then made a statement saying it was always in the condition i which he found it (lying wnak) pity i had 5 ppl interested in buying it... Thus why it was ging to him inb the first place for RWC. I also had ppl come out and do the quote for new interior etc. So approximately 40 ppl saw it the day it went in... He is pretty screwed there! lol

I cant believe what I'm reading.

Litigation is your only real option as performing all those repairs on your Fto are just way too much to handle. I think that this is a strong civil liability case. The mechanic breached his duty of care and you should definitely pursue this legally. I guess you might have to sell it for wrecking as it seems that there may be some structural damage ($$$$).

Thats absolutely sickening to read!! Its bad enough when its scumbags that wreck a car but for it to be someone who is supposed to be trusting and who is supposed to be into cars, it just makes me rage! I can never understand the whole concept of making wrecks of other peoples pride and joys or burning out or any of that mindless rubbish, but this just takes the mickey altogether!! Go for everything you get off this creep and send him down into the damnist regions of hell where he belongs, where he will forever be forced to drive Ladas, along with the other scummers.

Ok so here is the complete low down on what happen.
My husband and i owned three cars ( well a few more but they r interstae and bits and pieces) Any ways The subaru Liberty we were selling as his parents were goign to buy it off us but to do so we had to get a RWC so we took the car in to Colins Vehicle Services in tville to get a gear box change ( my husband had obliviated it nothing was salavagable) and the RWC Total we were quoted was $500 including RWC. then two days later my cocky ex decided to cut the dash cluster in my fto so driving my husband home from work one day (after just filling up) my fuel guage dropped below empty and my heat above hot and my car was down for the count. So you guess it it joined the other one. The next day we got a call saying our liberty was ready to be picked up so i went in with my father in law and blow me dead the dam thing cost $2700 to get back *alarm bells did start ringing but forgive me for being blonde i was planning a wedding and didnt really pay attention* so off i went and got married and about a week or so after we got back we got our 180SX back from a repair shop after a nasty accident (also had by my husband) where the steering rack was ripped out. bout 12000 damage. When we got it back it really wasnt fixed so because our liberty had been with this guy we thought what the hell he can have this too. So our 180Sx joined it. (little did we know that he had put in a dodgy gear box in the liberty and the selector bushes were rooted and it was gated between first and second rather than third and fourth) about two days later we got a phone call to pick up the 180. Driving it home it did not feel safe. so when i got home i rang my insurance company and kicked and screamed becuase not only did it come out with more dents and scratches then it went in with but the whole dam car wash shaking like a bell dancer on crack! My insurance company got really pissed off and refused to pay both ppl that had worked on my cars. Now nearly 4 months after having my car and him coming up with every excuse under the sun as to why it was tkaing so long for hm to source parts and the antics he had with my two other cars i went in and cracked it and told him i wnated my dam car back and i would take it else where for the repairs. he then cracked it at me and said hell no not until you pay for the work i did (i.e. locking one of his apprentices int he boot to find why my battery was going flat thou i had never had an issue and replacing my BRAND NEW BATTERY!) and $2000 storage. i cracked it but paid the $500 nd refused to pay storage. I even called the police but they wouldnt do anythign becuase he had lied and siad i had a verbal agreement with him.I never did! so he wouldnt give me car back so instead he started harassing my husband at work to pay him money for the 180 because insurance wouldnt and storage we refused so we landed oursleves in civil court the judge sent us to mediation and declined to us paying the storage because he was suppose to be fixing the vehicle but told us to pay for the 180 and take it up with insurance he then gave us two weeks to pay it. so on the 8th of december ( day after my bday and day before deadline ) my husband mother best friend and i all went to the mechanic and asked about my car. When we got there we had a nice icy reception from his secetary and off she trotted and grabbed him. when he strutted into the office he was like what are you doing here. I was like i want my car! he was like... umm i dont have it. i was like please explain and he got ths disgusting smirk and was like well i left it on the main road night before last witht he keys in it and no one took it but yesterday about lunch time it was parked out the front between a new skyline and things i came inside to have lunch and by the time i came back out it was gone. I thought you stole it. I was liek WTF why would i steal my own car i am here to pay for the f**king thing! he was liek i thought you would have been too embabrassed to come in here i went off at this point and told him to call the police while trying to refrain my husband from killing him and my 55 year old mother jumping the counter and strangling him. He then turned to his secetary and is like i guess u better call the police. Instead she got up and left the office! she didnt do a dam thing so i went out side and called the police while he was inside laughing! eventually when i got off the phone to the police ( i still had to go down and make a statement) i wnet back in and went right i think you still have my car now where the f**k is it. He just froze and then his brother jumped up from his little desk and was like get the f**k out your upsetting ym brother and trespassing! so we abruptly got kicked out. so after going to the cop shop i went home and started maapping out all tville dumping grounds. that weekend a friend of mine and my husbands went out with us and did over 1500kms looking EVERYWHERE! Tville isnt big. The monday i rang everybody in tville who meant anythign
the taxi company... They go everywhere so a notice was put up in all cars buses i called mechanics wreckers importers exporters storgae facilities car carriers tyre shops pretty much everybody i had a 5000 phone bill just looking for my baby. However one thing seem to be common amongst nealry 60% of ppl called. thats things magically dissappeared when you had gotten on his bad side but magically reappeared when he wanted to be the superhero! Low and behold 10 days later my car magically appeared found by one of his mechanics. Low and behold they got prints off my car traced it back to two black ppl with about 100 offences each to thier name funnily enough it was the smae house thye found it at so when it went to court it was found they had only had the car four about 4 hours when police went knocking on the door they had found it on the side of the road near their house. so after being jerked around i went to the head of police in tville who also started assuming the smae thign that the mechanic had had it all along becuas ewhen the mechanic had made a statement finially he had said he wasnt sure when it had been stolen. and had changed his story, he alos released a statement saying that was in the same condition as when he had been working on it...Failing to mention the damage. So now police are helping me..
This is about the story of my car but it has put a huge gap between me and my husband. He nows calls FTO s sh*t and we live in two seperate states getting divorced over the bullshit but all i want is my car back on the road before my daughter is born. i need something good in ym life. My lawyer thinks i should be able to sue him for about 20 000 becuas eof the work out into the car etc and police think i will walk away with victims of crime compensation to the value of about 50 000 due to negligence.. so we shall see

Really sorry for you! Its bad enough whats happening but if its causing a rift is another thing altogether! That guy should deffo get whats coming to him, hes the blame for all that so he should suffer, not ye!
