NSW - Reminder - DOUBLE DEMERITS IN FORCE

Post by nicholas »

Just so no-one gets caught out.

It sh*ts me that for the first day of any double demerit period, the police always prowl around the backstreets looking for easy pickings. Get out on the highways!

Im pretty sure that they'll chase you if they caught you speeding with a radar gun, coz those radar guns collect your speed and wont take a picture AFAIK. Not 100% sure though. :?

As i was told from someone on this forums a while ago, if you are going something less than 10 km/h over the speed limit, they sometimes wont bother chasing you to fine you because it is only a small fine and they might lose their place which they have settup with their radars.

they usually have a backup or 'chase' car waiting a bit down the street so they dont have to leave their setup
