dstocks bonfire....... READ

ok guys i live in brisbane qld basicly i want 2 go 2 dstocks bonfire im looking for any 1 else who would like 2 come without spending all the dosh on fuel.

basicly can fit up 3 more ppl we will go in my car and split fuel.my car goes in work shop on monday 2 pick up thursday just a service so will be running nice then we leave friday arvoish after i finish work and depending on your sceduals.

any 1 interested let me know post here or pm me id like 2 go but big drive all lonsome and stuff lol

I'll give ya $50 if you come.. That is about 500k's free fuel ... Serious on the offer, just to get a few QLD's down here...

I think on my trip up to QLD, I went through 1 and a bit tanks to get up there, and had enough to go for a cruise, then filled up before I left, and had to re-fuel at about Newcastle...

awsome pete so is the 4th a friday or sat night and if i come ill hold u 2 that offer lol.

also as im about 2 pay 1590 for my service wont have 2 much cash 2 drink any 1 selling home brew rum $10 a bottle or so lol cheap alternative lol

I am sure some of the other guys will have plenty of spare booze... I think I will get a case of Bourbs and Coke or Rum and Coke... So feel free to have some of that...

OK, the bonfire is on the Saturday night (although some people are coming on the Friday as well. Anyone else that is going to make the trip, send me a PM and ill flick you the directions on how to get there. Otherwise, link up with the Sydney guys on the way through and all come together.

Something to think about mate .. it's a 15 hour trip according to google maps .. that means a 15 hour trip back as well.. unless you're sharing the driving .. one person driving while the other sleeps, you would probably have to leave Thursday / friday morn at the latest..

I don't think that I will be going after all(unless i fly down) .. i doubt I will be able to get time off work & I doubt I will be up to the drive back after a night on the piss

yeah thats 15 hrs drink vomit sleep 15 hrs again i can do it lol but would prefer if atleast 1 person can come so share the load lol.

i really want 2 make this event and meet all these guys and get some info and ideas for my fto and its not the 30 hr drive that im worried about its the 30 hrs fuel lol with 2 ppl a lot cheaper and so on.

im hoping pete_gpx comes as he lives in tawoomba and is a good guy. tbh u dont know how bad i want to make this and man its a road trip who dosent likeroad trips.even in a crummydor road trips r fun.

so any 1 who wants 2 come and is short for cash or wants company let me know cmon guys do it for the fto's.

Aye, I know what you mean .. I'd love to make this meet as well.. will see what I can do about getting the time off either side of the Bonfire weekend.. might be a bit too last minute though.

I'm actually really keen to go to and would gladly share the driving with you, assuming you trusted me at the wheel of your FTO.

I'm attempting to organise to have next weekend off to go, but I'm unsure of how it's going to go at this stage since I left it a bit late. I didn't really consider heading down before since, like Kahael, the prospect of the drive alone turned me off a little.

That would really suck moose nuts if you didn't come cos you couldn't afford the juice so I will pledge another $20 ( yeah I'm cheap) on top of the $50 the other dude is going to give you if he is serious about it and who knows maybe more peeps will also donate some dosh so you can make it.
