Post by xj265 »

Found this thread on ftooc:

So I emailed him about maybe sending a few over to australia, he replied saying he would be happy to do another 15 pairs and send them to australia!

Price wise looking at $640ish for them + postage and what not

What do you guys think? good buy or not?

I think the old VR4 had similar whel flares...

I think it would be much cheaper to explore that or have them custom made here then $640 + postage ... 8O

those are the project f widebody arches - more suited for the dc bodykit. If you see in the pics the arches actually extend further past the rear and sideskirts.

I've been eyeing these for a long time...... If you can get a set... I shall make these babies my number 1 priority

I have a full DC kit, and I wouldn't put those on my car if somebody paid me to, they look so tacky :?

If they made new fenders with flared gaurds that would be a different story.

Anyway sorry, I know that wasn't the question asked, I'll just gtfo this thread ;)

is that $640 for all 4 wheel arches, or just for 1 pair?

if only 1 pair I don't think I'd be keen..

I'm out .. I'd have to get them fitted / blended / sprayed .. will end up probably costing 3 x as much by the end..

I'll get better bang for buck with the mods I have planned.

so from what I have read mate these just stick onto the side of the car mate is that correct. Are these fibreglass mate? What modifications do you need to do to the actual arches of the car buddy?

    hi

yea they are fibreglass and bonded on, the lower sections of the arch will need to be altered to match the lines of whatever body kit you have. the upper section is a perfect fit.
easy enough to do with a little trimming, fibreglass and filler
