New Air Filter

Post by HiRAEdd »

Is it possible to get a hard-on just by hearing your FTO engine?

Cause I think it happened. My brother and I just got rid of the stock air box and panel filter and dropped in a new air filter. Any performance gains could just be my imagination but holy crap, the sound my car makes now is insane! It sounds something like a cross between a WRX and an EVO now.

I love my car :)

Just dont go poking around the exhaust. I hear it gets heated a bit.

yes definitly
CHRISTIANITY: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

Sorry, could just be mis-reading.

But what have you actually put on?
Is it just a replacement filter, or have you put a pod on?

If so, then, yes it is possible, and it's nothing to be ashamed of.

Yes, it's a pod.

To be exact, it's this: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... 0169552408

Now forgiving the fact it looks like a ricey piece of crap, I actually just bought it for the metal tube because I was getting quoted around $200 for an adaptor to go from stock plastic pipe to new pod filter. So I put the filter on just for sh*ts and giggles and I can replace it now any time I want.

Here's a pic of the filter in my car. Note the high performance cable ties as indicated by the arrows ;) They are just to keep it sitting firmly in place. Now that I'm happy with it I'm going to look at a more permanent solution.

Nice work...whatever makes you happy

Does anyone know if I'll need an adapter to fit a 4 inch pod on my Current UAS piping?

I'll be doing a properly enclosed CAI really soon.
