Re-fitting windows properly

Post by funkysmurf »

Hello all,

Not long ago I had my car re-sprayed and had a few bumps taken out before the paint went on as suggested.

The people who did the job didn't put my driver's side window back properly (or the passenger's for that matter). As soon as I hit 40km/h or more, I can hear the wind coming through on the driver's side. I've taken it back 3 times so far. Every time I had to sit there for 4-5hrs waiting for them to get to my car and fix the problem. I'm not going to bother taking it back anymore.

So the driver's side has wind coming through, and the passenger's side moves around (you can hear it knock against something) when closed all the way and going over bumps etc. I'm pretty sure it's not a matter of the seals wearing out because I had no such problems before the re-spray.

What I'd like to do is find someone in Sydney who can fix this properly. I don't mind if it's someone from the forums or a mechanic/smash repairer. I also don't mind paying (almost) whatever it takes because it's really driving me nuts.

Thanks
