2 vent bonnets!!

anyone know where to get the bonnet for us fto's that has 2 vents in the middle? thanks

PM Tenji .. I think he gets them in c/f and fibreglas...

Don't go to Autojoy, what ever you do ...

Sometimes I see the actual vent for sale on ebay, but you would need to install and repaint the bonnet... Which can cost a bit ...

Why whats wrong with autojoy? Is it another carmate? LOL

Op - are you talking about the evo style bonnet or the kaze bonnet?

it's not actually the CF that's illegal. it's the fact that it's not complianced. fibreglass has the exact same problem, but it's just easier to pick CF because fibreglass is normally painted so you can't tell just looking at it :)

there are a few sites on the web that sell it... I would go with uniqueAP... Although they are quite pricey

the AB cf bonnet... Ive never seen them in fg though only in cf.

is it illegal to have cf bonnet? or u need a engineer cert? and where would i b able to get the AB bonnet? or price? thanks

It needs engineer certification to comply with the relevant ADR standard. I think its ADR400 but dont quote me on it, its on the site here somewhere if you search for it.

And unless you have a mate thats an engineer, no matter what the quality of the bonnet, there isnt anyone in the country that will do it for you.

So, if you want one, just go buy one.
