IQ Test

Ok lets see who can get a higher IQ than me :P

seriously... just for fun... takes about 30 minutes

at least this one gives you some sort of result at the end!

unlike some of you, i actually have things to do at work so i have no time for IQ tests... :P

So are you going to tell us, and what standard deviation did you use?

For anyone interested (and by the small response there's probably not) a full IQ test also involves a number of tests not done here, such as language and general knowledge.

A little known fact is that IQ test are also age based, so even if two people gave the exact same answers, if they were different ages, then their IQ would be different too! 8O

I reckon that when someone does an IQ test, they should also have to explain why they choose each answer, as a lot of people have a guess when they're not sure, and sometimes get it right. But in reality, this just means they were lucky, not that they have a higher IQ :wink:

Personally it annoys me when a question is asked in an IQ test, such as this, and such as has happened on the Channel 9 one, where there can legitimately be two answers for the same question. :roll:

i used the default SD which is 16 i think, i didnt change it anyway

yeah i think we all know that this isnt the definitive IQ test, just something for fun... in terms of language, its a disadvantage if english isnt your native language i think... i mean some of those words on the channel 9 one i didnt even know the meaning of... i had to guess.. it seems to come down to you vocab level for those questions...

i actually only guessed 1 out of all the questions, i saw a definite pattern in all the rest

i'll hold out for a while, since this might motivate more people to try the test

ruchi i was trying to gee him up to do the test or publish his results... i need to improve on my people (manipulating) skills :wink: nobody's perfect!
