thanx guys I was surprised at the finish of it as i was just making something temporary until I can afford a more expensivs set up. I used a old jigsaw with a rusty blade the tool box is from bunnings and is good for 2 air boxes. by the way it makes a huge difference lots more power especially after sitting at the lights for 5 minutes and the idle is noticably smoother. the best performance bang for buck Iv ever don

the good.. the overall performance increase is a lot more then I expected. and what suprise me the most is the transmission is shifting quicker with les pause between cogs
and the car now does stuff in 3rd that it use to need 2nd for
now the bad I busted an aircon pipe trying to move it so my chaep DIY is now an expensive repair job

taht duct stuff from bunnings is not really that good (presume its the alluminum foil stlye for fan ducts etc) it will do job but then it will tear and shred as material is too light.
try autobarn/supercheap for proper flexi hose that is solid and wont tear or rip should be around 20-30 bux
as said put a couple of holes in to avoid sucking up bucket loads of water and try to face it towards front of car ie: in front bar to get the direct feed of air
