gpx v r33 turbo
ever wonder how a 95 gpx goes up agianst a r33 gtst skyline, running 22 pound bost. I sure did. last tuesday I got feed up with this bloke from work goin on how his skyline would beat and quet, sorry bout spelling, my piece of sh*t fto. so I told him lets go to the qrt, so we did. he jumped the start so I just planted it cought up to him in 2nd then hit rev limit, smashed it in 3rd and smashed past him. by the time we hit the qrt line I was at least 100m in front. at the end off the pissing contest he said he raced another skyline the day before and it never beat him that much. the end.

I reckon it should be a close race. Perhaps up to five car lengths? 100m gap is hell of a lot! Can you give him a chance again for another matchup. Just to confirm. If what you said is really true, everyone in this forum will be so proud of you!tdog88 wrote:ever wonder how a 95 gpx goes up agianst a r33 gtst Big Ugly Soap Box Racer, running 22 pound bost. SSS has an SR20DE, with minor work it could pull big enough numbers to beat a GPX. That's if they haven't all just done the SR20DET conversion like 90% of SSS owners have. (Hey its what I'd do if I owned one)poahfto wrote:yes,
but do you seriously think SSS's are better?
i would say a gtst would be better.
but surely not all these other shitter quality front wheel drive cars.
I'd say work on your launch more than anything. So many people can't f**king launch properly. I've (at the track of course >_>) taken a fair few suckers who couldn't launch properly in much higher powered cars.
