Noice Engine - Lifter Problem

As I know many people have the noice engine with them, I'm the one as well, that's why I open this topic to see anyone here can help us!

I have been asked my machanic, he got a guy work for Mit. in HK before, and he know the the lifter job is very very expensive job.

Shopping in HK is usually cheaper than Aus, but each lifter cost HKD$200 (AUD $1 = HKD $5., that means almost $35@, and you have to buy 24pic since we are 24V, so the parts will come up to AUD$840.

Remember this is all the price from HK and should be higher in Aus, also not inc. labour as well.......... !!

So are there anyone here did this job before and tell us how much you pay for it ??? Thanks very much !!

ive already posted similar to this, and you can get lifters from japan for around 500 bucks.

also i figure it might be a good idea to clean them first heres a link, the interals of the FTO are very similar but becuase of the V layout they are in the front and back of engine.
