Need advice on a few products.

Im going to change the engine oil, oil filter and spark plugs. So what are the best types of oil and stuff do you guys use?

I think you will find heaps and heaps of posts on oils if you do a search. I did that the other day, it was very interesting. All i can say is that every car is different.

I kept putting synthetic oil in a fairmont au, for 30000 km's and now, it doesn't like anything but that $50 bottle of oil... so what i'm saying is that it's more of like an experement with common sense

If you feel the car running rough, or tappet noise, then i guess you put in the wrong one. You might get that you put in a very popular oil from the forum and your car will not like it.

I donno about oil filters, i though that mostly all oil filters work in very similar manners... someone please tell me?

I believe there were some threads about spark plugs in the past, so just do a search
