Buying new Pads + Discs

Post by nappa4eva »

Hi guys, been here for a while but haven't had a need to post before..

Im about to buy new pads+discs for the fto, and I've been finding a lot of places are charging through the roof for rear discs!

The fronts are pretty cheap (same as Magna), but the rear discs are f&kng expensive as!

Cheapest I was quoted was $165 each for rear discs (DBA), or $105 for chinese-spec ones.

Is this normal pricing, or is there some shops that sell 'cheaper' brake gear for FTO's?
By the way, im located in Melbourne

While on that note, whats a good pad upgrade? I was thinking Bendix ceramic front + bendix CPT rear.

Cheers,
Alex

are your rear discs worn? and good combo is dba front discs with Ebc green stuff or i been using ferrodo cant remember the name but they tthe top spec ones and they have been awesome
they shouldnt really wear through rear discs well not fast anyway maybe you just need pads? if so the above will be just fine dont forget the front does most of the braking ;)
