aircon not working

hey there,

my air doesnt seem to work at all. the whole system. no air comes out when i turn it on?

Checked the plugs under the dash and all seem to be plugged in. Checked fuses too.
All the piping in the engine bay seems good.

What do you guys think it could be?

You got the Version R manual air con, or the climate control ...I can't remember what car you have...

Anywho, do you get air when you have the un-recycled air flowing, or is there nothing at all, in any setting

If that is the case, then I would say the climate control unit is buggered ... See if someone lives close to you, and can lend you theres to see if that is the problem ... It only takes like 5 minutes to swap over....

If that does not work, then I'm out of ideas... If the fan speed is not working, it has to usually be a fuse, or some sort of power problem ... Maybe a loose wire ...

hey rock_it,

i got the version r ecu harness to a climate control unit. Could this be the problem?

And i'm getting no air at all on any type of setting.

Got sick cos i had to keep the damn window open while driving so it would defog inside!!!!!

did you check all fuses both under bonnet and dash?
would say electrical issue if fans are not engaging

checked about 2 times i think. each individual one and none seemed shorted/blown...

will check again and see if anything has blown since
