GR to GPX

Post by vipfto »

OK before I go all out and purchase a 6A13TT with manual box, ECU turbo ETC I have another option :?

For a considerable less amount of money and probaly time and hassles I also can get a gpx motor and manual box with peddle box etc with ECU

Now is there anything else I would need? considering mine is a GR tip :?

I think this would be extremely simple swap and would at least have car on road in day or two

Has anyone done this yet and is there any major hassles? apart from manual conversion which is straight forward enough

Yeah, that would be a pretty straight forward one. Buy the GPX motor & box, the GPX loom (windshield forward section only, but including the ECU) and the ancillary manual bits like clutch cylinders & shifter cables. Oh and you'll need the driveshafts from the donor GPX.
