Folding mirror
My drivers side folding mirror has decided not to fold out any more. It will fold in, but not out
any ideas? Cheers.

OMG the whole car is ruined. maybe you want to trade for my car, my driverside mirror folds both ways.... which is more than i can say about my passenger side lol.AJ wrote:But it still folds in?
it could be 1 of the 2 copper bits (inside the mirror itself, these 2 things are how it knows when to stop, so maybe its just moved/wore enough to not contact.

there's a DIY for it, i'm assuming you can find it off dstocks site (cos i remember using it, and his site seems to be the only place i go to for these things lol)AJ wrote:Haha, thanks Yang. So how do I open the mirror and have a look inside?
basically fold the mirror up undo the bolt/s... off the top of my head there's 3. then there will a series of layers of unscrewing that you have to do to get to the motor, doog luck, 1 suggestion dont try to super glue anything in there, the glue will run if u use too much then u stuff it up even more... it's not the reason why my passengerside mirror doesnt work at all now... honest
