Fitting 6.5" speakers in parcel shelf

i need help with putting my new pioneer 6" speakers into the
old 6x9 hole...
the metal bits only just touch the edges of the existing hole and there isnt even enough room to screw them in!
is there some sort of bracket i can buy or something?

From factory they come with some kind of spacers for the 6's which could be pulled off to accomodate 6x9's maybe dstocks has some lying around?......

Why not just get some MDF and make spacers ??
